The CogT Lab is looking for individuals with backgrounds in one or more of the following fields: neurosciences (e.g., cognitive, computational, clinical), computational sciences (e.g., computer science, data science, computational biology), or math and engineering (e.g., biomedical, electrical, electrical and computer engineering, math, statistics). Prior experience in health applications, neuroimaging, cognitive science, or gerontology/geriatrics is preferred.

Undergraduate Research Assistants

We are looking for highly motivated students who are interested in acquiring hands-on research experience in the following areas:

> neuroimaging preprocessing or independent study with applications in brain and cognitive aging.

> clinical research studies on brain and cognitive aging, with direct subject interaction.

Human Research Project Coordinator

We are recruiting a Level I Project Coordinator to conduct human subject research in older adults populations.

APPLICATION

Postdoctoral Fellows

We are recruiting postdoctoral fellows for two positions in brain aging and cognitive training research. All fellows will be offered an NIH-level competitive monthly stipend.

Training in conceptual and methodological areas related to brain aging and age-associated neurodegenerative diseases.

Fellows will have opportunities to work on neuroimaging data analyses and publications related to existing human research studies, conduct pilot studies, as well as spearhead independent projects by developing early career proposals.

Conduct an NIH-funded research project to develop a brain-computer interface for computerized cognitive training.

This project aims to identify neural mechanisms that can help promote healthy aging and delay functional decline in typical and pathological brain aging processes. The fellow will have opportunities to collaborate with interdisciplinary groups at Stanford University, including Stanford AI and instittutes of medical imaging and neuroscience.
